Abstract
The present study aims to investigate and analyze the effect of technological innovation capacities on the economic performance of knowledge-based companies. This is a qualitative-exploratory study and data analysis is done using the theme analysis method. The statistical population includes experts, managers and technology experts of knowledge-based companies. The sampling method is snowball and the researcher achieved theoretical saturation through semi-structured interviews with 11 experts. The data were organized and analyzed using the theme analysis method and 6 main themes were identified including the company's technological capability, innovation culture and management, learning and absorption of external knowledge, technological collaboration and networking, challenges and barriers to innovation and economic performance and the impact of innovation. The results show that technical skills and knowledge, technological infrastructure, innovative culture of the organization, innovation management processes, external learning and effective networking directly increase the capacity for technological innovation and improve the economic performance of companies, while financial constraints, environmental fluctuations and lack of mature markets are considered among the inhibiting factors. This research shows the importance of simultaneously strengthening technological capability, innovative culture, learning, and network collaboration in improving economic performance and can be a practical guide for strategic planning and policy-making in knowledge-based companies.
