The purpose of this research is to provide an operational model of the role of innovation on the promotion of technological capability in the economic performance of organizations. The current research is exploratory in nature, developmental-applicative in terms of purpose, and qualitative research in terms of implementation method. In the qualitative part of the research, the data base theory method has been used. The statistical population of the current research includes professors, experts in the field of innovation and senior managers of the headquarters of the Bank Keshavarzi of Tehran, who have a master's degree or higher or work experience of more than 15 years. The sampling method was non-probability and was done through judgmental sampling. In order to collect information regarding the theoretical foundations and literature of the subject research, library sources were used, and in order to design the model and identify the components, dimensions and variables of the model, the data base method and semi-structured interviews with experts were used. The obtained results include external stimuli (mandatory, imitative and normative stimuli), internal stimuli (attitude of managers and organizational structure appropriate to innovation), open innovation (incoming and outgoing), technological capabilities (quick updating and adaptation to the needs of the organization), acceptance It includes technology (trust, awareness and ease of use) and organizational performance (economic, market and process performance).
