Abstract: (6 Views)
The power industry, recognized as a critical infrastructure for economic development, possesses substantial potential for exporting technical and engineering services. The primary objective of this research is to identify and prioritize the factors that impact the development of exports in technical and engineering services provided by Iranian companies operating within the power sector. This study is applied in its objective and descriptive-survey in its nature and methodology. The statistical population comprises senior managers and export specialists from consulting engineering and contracting companies active in Iran’s power industry. Data were collected using a standard questionnaire and analyzed employing SmartPLS4 software and the Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) technique. The findings indicate that organizational, environmental-international, financial-credit, and political-diplomatic factors exert the most significant influence on export development. The results of the structural model suggest that financial factors, with a path coefficient of 0.451, and political factors, with a path coefficient of 0.382, are the strongest drivers of exports. Furthermore, the model fit index (SRMR) yielded a value of 0.07, signifying a desirable model fit. This research concludes that focusing on financial facilities and economic diplomacy should be the foremost priority for enhancing exports.
