Iran to present a domestic alternative against modernizing development process in the world
IUESA: Referring to the first international conference on urban economy in Iran, Dr. Young Hoon Kwaak, president of World Citizens Organization said it was so timely for Iran to convene a meeting on urban economy, planning, management and financing since Iran’s sanctions have been removed, Iran needs comprehensive planning on all three levels of national, regional and urban planning.
Iran needs to avoid many mistakes made in the modernizing development process in the world. Moreover, Iran needs to make alternative ways of planning that can preserve brilliant heritages and diverse natures of Iran, he said.
Iran has sustained many city environments with brilliant heritages and varied nature and new developments must continue that unique tradition and add new scientific methods to make smart human settlement patterns, he added.
Iranian ingenuity should come into play to make many model cases to impart new paradigms to the rest of the world, he emphasized.
