Sustainability of urban revenue; implementation of Economy of Resistance in urban field
IUESA: Noting that the name of the year as “Economy of Resistance; implementation and action”, DrPoorzarandi, the head of IUESA said, preliminary steps have been taken since the general policies of Economy of Resistance issued by the Supreme Leader in 2013, but the ground has not been prepared for full institutionalization of the model. It is hoped that the model to be implemented in 2016 with empathy and compassion of both the government and people.
Saying that we believe scientific associations can have influential role in this regard, he added, the second paragraph of the issued policies emphasizes on the knowledge-based economy in order to improve Iran’s position in the world. Particularly, scientific associations can help the government beside other scientific and academic centers in the country.
Highlighting the importance of implementation of Economy of Resistance in urban economics, he said, we can claim that sustainability of urban management revenues is the most important index for it. Currently, 70 percent of urban revenues are unsustainable and 2016 is a good opportunity to improve the share of urban sustainable revenues.
