Cities and post-sanctions opportunities

IUESA: Seyyed Mohsen Tabatabaei Mozdabadi, the secretary of IUESA has written a note in IRNA. The summary is as follows:

Undoubtedly, removing western cruel sanctions has created new opportunities for Iran’s economy. Returning bulk of blocked funds, reducing in product cost, fascinating for participating in the world market are the most important components that can be followed by economic growth for the country in post-sanctions.

Yet, it seems that the officials do not care to cities’ capacities in post sanctions too much. On the other hand, city mangers neglect their capacities in this regard.

Today, many important cities in the world have local governments in line with urban development. Metropolises such as Tehran, Mashhad, Isfahan, and Tabriz should be sensitive to created opportunities in the international atmosphere in post-sanctions.

Today, many cities in the world earn much of their revenues by global relations. For example, Austrian and Switzerland have been changed into the center of global diplomacy. Seoul has turned into a place for holding international conferences as well.
