Jihad management is necessary to evolution and development of housing sector

IUESA: Ninth Biennial Conference of Islamic Economics on “Islamic economy and the economy of Iran” was held not long ago and some Iranian professors, students, and economists presented their newest findings in Islamic economy.
Referring to eight million households needing house in the country, Sadeqi Shahedani, The editor- in- chief of the scientific-research Quarterly Journal of Urban Economics and Management by presenting an article entitled “the performance of the governments after Islamic Revolution in housing sector emphasizing jihad management” said: According to article 31 of constitution, providing house is the government’ duty.
Despite accomplished attempts during the recent years, the cost of housing is 21.49 times of annual revenue of a family. Iran’s rank is 107 among 120 countries in the world. It seems that the government cannot help this sector; therefore, jihad management and planning based on saving in cost and increasing efficiency are necessary to evolution and development of housing sector, he added.
Jihad management is a pure, tireless, and accelerated one. When jihad is added to a term like management, there is a challenge.
