Most urban economy articles have been devoted to economy of tourism and urban dilemmas
IUESA: Saying that international conference on urban economy will be held on May 19, Dr. Davoud Danesh Jafari, member of policy-making council of the conference said 265 article abstracts have been submitted to the conference secretariat that 157 of them were eligible for arbitration.
Noting that 19 articles about economy of smart city, 29 ones about economy of urban tourism, 19 ones about economy of urban infrastructures, 9 ones about economic culture of the city and citizenship education, 28 ones about urban dilemmas, the environment, and air pollution, 15 ones about management of human capital development, 4 ones about banking systems, social banking, and urban economy, 13 ones about modeling resistance economy in cities and urban passive defense, 8 ones about pricing of urban services, financing, and municipal revenues, and 13 other articles about management of municipal services, city management organizations, and private sector are being arbitraged, he said; therefore, “economy of urban tourism” and “urban dilemmas, the environment, and air pollution” have been eligible for arbitration at the International Conference on Urban Economy.
Highlighting that International Conference on Economy Urban will be held on May 19 in Tehran where Iranian and foreign academicians as well as experts will participate, the member of Expediency Council said the major organizer of the event is Iran Urban Economics Scientific Association IUESA. Notable among participants and contributors are Interior Ministry, Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance, Allameh Tabatabaei University, Imam Sadiq University, Tehran City Council, Qazvin Municipality, Shiraz Municipality, University of Jihad, Asian Mayors Forum, UNESCO, UCLG/MEWA, and METROPOLISE.
